How can a swan qualify to hold a record in Guinness Book? Well, when it sits on a human finger with the most number of diamonds! The Tsarevna Swan ring got honoured by the Guinness Book of World Records as the 'the most diamonds set in one ring wearable on the human finger’. A total of 2,525 diamonds weighing 10.48 carats are set on the 18k white gold ring. The record setting glory is complemented with an astounding price tag of $1.3 million. Made by Lobortas Classic Jewelry House of Kiev, Ukraine, the diamonds were sourced from India based Shrenuj Group, a diamond and diamond jewellery manufacturer.
Other rings that have caught our attention earlier are Kim Kardashian’s $2 million engagement ring and the $10million blue and pink diamond ring that set the record at Sotheby’s auction last year. Bulgari Blue ring also fetched $15.7 million at Christies New York auction in 2010. However the world's first diamond ring walks away with the title of the most expensive diamond ring ever as it has been crafted entirely from one, single faceted diamond, weighing 150-carats.
