 For all the car enthusiasts out there, Forbes magazines has compiled their list of ten most expensive cars going on sale in 2012. The list was assembled on basis of new cars and their MSRP value. It does not take into account any auction values. Here it is, The ten most expensive cars of 2012:

10) Porsche 918 Spyder -

Last, but still expensive at $845,000 is Germany's Porsche 918 Spyder. This one is equipped with 500 hp, 3.4 liter, V8 engine and can reach 0-60mph with 3.1 seconds.

 9) 2012 SSC Tuatara -

From US again is the 2012 SSC Tuatara with V8 1,350 hp engine. With an estimated price of $970,000 this car can go from 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds.

 8) Hennessey Venom GT -

US's Hennessey Venom GT with a price tag of $1 million has V8 1,200 hp engine with the capacity to travel from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds.

 7) Pagani Huayra -

Pagani Huayra from Italy is priced at $1.3 million. This luxury car with Mercedes-BenzV12 is equipped with 700hp engine and can reach 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

 6) Maybach Landaulet

 Germany's Maybach Landaulet ties in with Aston Martin​ price wise with a tag of $1.4 million. With a V12 620 hp engine, it can easily go 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds. 

 5) Aston Martin One-77 

This supercar comes in a next with a price tag of $1.4 million. Originating from UK this 7.3 liter V12 750hp can easily accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds. 

 4) Koenigsegg Agera R

Koenigsegg Agera R from Sweden has 1,115hp 5.0 liter, V8 engine and can reach 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds. This dream car is priced at $1.7 million. Add another $270,000 if you prefer the carbon-fiber version of the same. 

 3) Zenovo ST1

Zenovo ST1 from Denmark has price tag of $1.8 million. This luxury car is equipped with 1,250 hp V8 engine. It can cover 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds. 

 2) Ferrari 599XX​ 

Coming in very close is the Ferrari 599XX. Italy very own famous luxury car is equipped with V12 600 hp engine which can reach speed from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds. The price is rumored to be around $2 million and the only way you can get one for yourself is by invite only. 

1) Bugatti Veyron Supersport

It is first one on the list with a price tag of $2.6 million. Originating from France this car is equipped with V16, 1,200 hp engine and can go from 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds.
