Qantas Airlines, which is the premier of the lot of Australia, has introduced its new first class cabin on the Airbus A380 aircraft that the company owns. Looking at the ultra-modern and strong futuristic flavor of décor, one gets reminded of the Star Trek movie franchise, which was based on similar futuristic concepts. For a while, we even were scared into believing that Captain Picard might be in the pilot cockpit, or even Darth Vader might shake us up from deep slumber while aboard the plan, but it’s really not the case.
Qantas A380 aircraft interiors
Plying between the 3 major cities which include London, Sydney, and Los Angeles, this aircraft will cocoon a select group of travelers to extreme luxury, almost. From the leather sofas in the common lounge featuring wooden inlays, where you can chat around with the fellow first class passengers, to the gourmet cuisines you can order while flying between the destinations, staff on call at all times, to ordering from a collection of over 1,000 videos for entertainment on personal touch screen panels, and finally converting your seat into a mini-cabin where you can lie down during hectic journeys, this journey is aimed at pampering you for every cent that you would end up paying for the ticket. We haven’t yet got word about the price, but for those who like to fly by indulging in luxury, the Qantas Airlines A380 flight sure takes air travel to new dimensions of luxurious experiences.
What struck us most were the particular elements of the aesthetics within the aircraft, like the matte finished single grain woodwork on the tables and side panels, the star-like appearance of the lighting in the main lounge ceiling, to the standard brown headboards, the color of which is repeated on the unisex night suits on offer for guests. It exudes the aura of premium quality, and well thought aesthetics which would be a part of the experience premium passengers look for these days.
However, should you get done with vowing this aircraft; do take a look at the world’s most luxurious airlines, which features Qantas as well. Looks like the rich airline traveler, is finally spoilt for choice.
